I love sharing photos of my wonderful clients and their families, so I thought it would be fun to turn the tables and feature my little family on the blog this evening. I spend a lot of time behind the camera, and sometimes neglect to not only take photos of my own family, but myself as well. As the 2015 Christmas season approaches, and the new year not too far around the corner, I have made a promise to get myself in front of the camera with my family more often. Equally important, I will continue to print and to place photos on our walls and in our albums. Don't let your precious photographs get lost on a hard drive in digital format. I recommend printing them on high quality paper so that they can be saved, shared, and passed down through generations.
Thank you for visiting!
Oh my gosh, where to begin with this sweet family. The Thesen Family were absolutely lovely, and we had a fun and laid back photo session to say the least. I couldn't get over baby Cayden and his big blue eyes. And those lashes! He was such a little sweetheart and I was amazed at how well he did throughout our hour together. Thank you for giving me the wonderful opportunity to photograph your family!
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Sidney again, first as a newborn, and now at 3 months old. I love watching my little clients grow! She had lots of smiles and was an absolute dream baby. Thank you to Sidney, Katie and Trevor for coming out to play at the studio. This is a great time of year to have your family photographs taken to send out to loved ones this holiday season.
William considered smashing his cake with his feet, but ultimately the spoon won out. He was the most polite cake smasher.!
Happy 1st birthday William. May your day be filled with chocolate cake and fun. Hope you enjoyed your cake smash! xo
It has been reasonably warm this Autumn here in Yellowknife. Thankfully the weather held out long enough for one more photo session with blankets, thick sweaters, and knitted hats and scarves. Not long now before we will all be bundled in our Canada Goose parkas.
The clouds broke and the sunlight shone as we started our photo session, giving us some respite from the chilly Autumn air. Baby Evianna kept nice and cozy in blankets and warm arms.
Thank you for inviting me outside to photograph your beautiful family. I enjoyed all of the fun planning and little details. What a lovely afternoon with the Shannon Family!
