I spent a beautiful evening on Mt. Scio Farm with a very sweet family. The day was slowly winding down but it seemed like there was always plenty of work to be done. Jeremy and Leisha were able to sneak away from their work long enough to stroll around the farm with me and show me all the delicious greens and hidden gems on the farm. For that I am truly grateful.
I was sad when the time came for me to leave. There was so much peace and calm and wholesomeness that I could have lingered for ages. Alas, I have a sweet baby of my own that I had to go home and love. :)
Thank you for the wonderful evening!
Good morning folks!

What better way to spend a rainy Saturday morning than to write about one of my fabulous recent photo session experiences?
I had the pleasure of photographing Owen and Ashley for the second time after our previous Mommy and Me Session.
For this family photo session I also had the pleasure of meeting Sean and their cute, fuzzy dog! There were so many gorgeous photos from the session that it was really hard to choose any favourites. This is one very sweet family. :)
I think it is universally agreed upon that baby toes are über edible. Just look at Thomas' chubby little toes for example.
Sometimes as parents we spend so much time behind the scenes, including behind the camera, that we often neglect to get right on in there and be a part of the action. Liz, a fellow photographer and friend of mine, is all too familiar with this feeling. I was delighted to be able to capture some sweet moments with her and her son on a gloriously sunny August afternoon. We all had a blast!
This has inspired me to go out with my own son and treat ourselves to a photo session of our very own. Can't wait!
It was yet another gorgeous summer evening in St. John's, Newfoundland. I have lived here for 3 years, and this has by far been the warmest, sunniest summer that I can remember. I feel so fortunate to be able to spend so much time outside with my clients taking their photos!
On this particular evening I was in the lovely company of the Burgeon Roberts Family, in a field overgrown with quaint Newfoundland wildflowers, long and graceful grasses, as well as bright and lively snap dragons which danced gently in the breeze. Little Jamie was all big blue eyes and smiles, despite the fact that it was past his bedtime!
