I am excited to share with you a few snapshots of northern Canada, all taken while exploring by foot. The land, sky, water, trees, and animals; all little details of each ecosystem that make you feel as though you are walking into the land of Narnia. When it is the middle of a dark and cold winter in Yellowknife, with temperatures dropping to the -30C's and below, knowing the view one will experience when hiking into the woods motivates me to come out of hibernation and breathe in the fresh scent of pine and clean, crisp air.
I hope you enjoy these photos. I look forward to sharing more in the coming days, including some nighttime photos with the moon, stars, and Aurora Borealis. Northern Canada, you are splendid!
